Nurse Navigator
A passion project stemmed from where empathy meets technology.
Problem
There is a crisis of older patients missing their appointments, surgeries, and follow-up appointments. Thousands are suffering side effects from their procedures and medical staff are overwhelmed.
Solution
Design a system of friendly symptom management with a backend to support the nurses on the front lines.
Humble beginnings.
Working closely with an Amazon Alexa developer, we created the first prototype of the experience. Together we documented a working use case centering on the vitality of such an application to the vulnerable user base.
After this point, the designs were taken a step further to flesh out the first iterations of the working visual design system, that would later receive investment from some of the country’s largest hospital networks.
